Aditi Rao Hydari’s home is all about warmth. The actor who recently starred in the Malayalam drama Hey Sinamika, lives in Versova in Mumbai. From a “busy” living room to a “cosy” bedroom, Aditi shared a glimpse of her home with her fans in the latest episode of “Asian Paints Where The Heart Is.” If you also want your place to look cozy and warm, the actor drops questions for you to pick up.
The living room of Aditi’s house is decorated with a beige sofa with patterned cushions, two chairs printed in bright colors are also placed. The living room walls are decorated with traditional artwork that adds liveliness to the room. During the tour, the actor shared that it was his favorite space as it had huge windows, which allowed natural light to stream into his home.
The actor recalled that when she saw his house in Mumbai for the first time, she remembered the dollhouse her father used to build for her. Taking inspiration from it, she calls it her “little dollhouse” at home which even has a “miniature” quality to it. She believes that her sense of house management is influenced by the way her grandmother, mother and paternal uncle managed their houses.
Aditi shared that for her, people complimenting her home are more valuable than praise for her chops or her looks. She said: “I know I work in a profession that relies a lot on compliments, how you look and how you act. But the biggest compliment for me is when people walk into this house and they’re comfortable. Aditi said when people love the energy of her home and feel comfortable, that’s the biggest compliment because you can’t fake it.
Showing off her dining room, the actress admitted she has a “problem” feeding people, even when they’re not hungry. “It’s a really bad habit, but it’s a problem with me,” she said.
Work-wise, his latest release Hey Sinamika is beloved by fans and received mixed reviews from critics.
