Westport House is hosting its annual open house from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 28.

The Hughes family is opening all the rides and attractions at Pirate Adventure Park for free in the hopes you’ll dig deep for this year’s charity partner, Western Care, which provides services for people with disabilities and autism across Mayo.

Participants are encouraged to donate generously to help fund the provision of services dedicated to empowering people with a wide range of learning and related disabilities in County Mayo so that they can live full and satisfied as equal citizens.

Each participant is encouraged to donate €5 per person at the entrance and to remember to bring cash; 100% of profits will go to Western Care.

Tia Crowley, CEO of Western Care, said, “Western Care is delighted to be associated with Westport House and we appreciate their continued support of Western Care Association while providing a great day out for families in the beautiful surroundings of Westport House.

Barry O’Connor, CEO of Westport Estate, said: “Supporting our local community and ensuring we are accessible to people from all walks of life is part of Westport Estate’s core values.

“We look forward to opening our doors for free on May 29th, we hope you have fun and we encourage you to support Western Care and the great work they are doing all around Mayo.”
