Lila Moss19 year old daughter of runway royalty Kate Mossstarred in a new joint fashion campaign for Versace and Fendi.

Following in her mother’s footsteps, Lila posed in a cream patterned sleeveless shift dress, black and gold strappy sandals and a miniature handbag.

Also seen in the upper arm photo of Lila is her blood sugar monitoring device which she uses to manage her type 1 diabetes.

“I think not many people know I have diabetes. It’s not visible on the outside, so no one would really know just by looking at you,” Lila told The Kit in 2020.

By showcasing this mundane device, which is an integral part of many people’s lives, Lila is making a statement about what it means to live with diabetes as a public figure.

The golden girl

In September, Lila walked with her mother Kate in a joint Versace and Fendi show, sporting a white and gold patterned swimsuit, matching jacket and layered gold necklaces.

Her outfit drew attention to the insulin capsule on her left hip, and she opened up about her decision to show off her device on the runway as part of Vogue’s YouTube series.

“I have sugar tablets, in case my blood sugar drops. I have diabetes, so I have this which controls a capsule on my leg, which gives me insulin.

“It’s very important to keep it in my bag, it accompanies me everywhere.”

Lila also revealed that she had an Apple AirTag attached to her insulin pump reader so she wouldn’t lose it.

Last week, Lila attended the annual met gala in New York alongside her supermodel mother Kate and rocked the red carpet in a sheer beige dress by Burberry, adorned with clusters of shimmering pearls and beige strappy heels.

The transparency of her dress showed off her insulin pod again as she posed for photographers and entered the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Her mother, a long-time Met Gala attendee, Kate also wore a dress designed by Burberry and looked stunning in her black velvet off-the-shoulder tuxedo-style dress. She wore sheer black tights and sleek heeled sandals along with dramatic red lip makeup.
