Oxfordshire photographer recreates miniature fireworks display for the Camera Club


Kaleidoscopic fireworks were photographed by members of the Oxford Mail Camera Club for the theme of this week’s contest.

Fireworks are held across the county to celebrate bonfire night and photographers have been busy taking photos of the spectacular scenes.

Photos of bonfires, sparklers and fireworks were featured for this week’s Camera Club contest and one brilliant snap stood out.

Louise Hook got creative with the theme and photographed her little models enjoying a fireworks display in their miniature town. Using a sparkler, she was able to recreate a miniature bonfire night with gingerbread houses.

The theme for next week’s photography is Remembrance, post your photos on the Oxford Mail Camera Club Facebook page to enter the contest. If you’re lucky, your snapshot will appear in next week’s journal.
